No time like the present

For the first time in approximately 16 weeks, I have had the opportunity to spend HOURS at leisurely internet this afternoon.  And!  To get paid for it.

Life has been full, full, full, full lately.  Right now I'm here to say I love it, but that could be the coffee talking.  Bulleted briefs, in no particular order:
.  Project Neighborhood in Creston:  We are HARD at WORK.  It is so, so exciting.  Have you ever worked on  a dream for two years without knowing if it would come true?  Seeing it come to fruition is beautiful.  But, lest I get ahead of myself, there is a ton more to do.  Thank God for a group of Entrada volunteers this morning.  They attacked the kitchen's drop ceiling and the ugly paneling in the entry way.  It's amazing how much the demolition made me feel like we were getting somewhere.  I know, I know; the cynics will tell me that putting it back together is the hard part.  I think God will provide for that, too, though.

.  Work:  What to say but that I'm back at it?  I feel like I spend almost as much time scheduling childcare as at the office, but...what can ya do?

.  speaking of... JONAH:  He's great.  I love him.  He's sleeping well, eating well, smiling, cooing.  You know, he cries sometimes too, but it mostly serves as an invitation to cuddle him.  His favorite activities include going for a walk, kicking his legs and chewing on blankets.

.  Housekeeping:  It's gone out the window a little bit.  I was real good at it for about a week, and then...? Who knows.  We got outta town for a couple days and the house hasn't recovered yet.  But it will get better.  Homemaking, crazy as it may sound, is actually an appealing thing to me for the first time ever.  I'm looking forward to packing us up and clearing out the clutter when it comes time to move.  It will be great to start fresh.

.  Church: We're hosting bi-weekly summer Bible study for the college-aged folk.  I really appreciate the time we have together.  VBS is coming up, too.  I'm looking forward to meeting some kids who live near the house.

Oh, of course, there's probably more to say, but that's enough for now.  I think now that I've re-entered xangaland it won't take so long for my next post. :)
